Description
En hydrometer är ett instrument som används för att mäta densiteten på vätskor, och är speciellt användbar vid ölbryggning för att bestämma alkoholhalten.
Genom att mäta densiteten av vörten (en sötaktig vätska som blir öl efter jäsning) före och efter jäsningen, kan man beräkna hur mycket socker som har omvandlats till alkohol.
